A Little History

The owner (Dustin Hardin) bought this beautiful Camaro for $4500 in good shape in 1996 at 15 years old as his first vehicle, and drove it throughout high school. It got its first silver paint job in 1999 (done by John Hardin) while Dustin was building a small block Chevy 350 from scratch to replace the original 250ci straight 6. In 2015, Dustin began restoration on the car while working for his Dad and Dad's business partner at Creative Classics & Customs. In 2016, Dustin bought out his dads partner, forming the current partnership/family business. In 2017, Hurricane Harvey halted progress on the car. In 2019, Dustin and John started construction on the new shop in Kemah, and Dustin welcomed his first child. In 2021, Dustin's second child was born and his first began learning the ins and outs of the family business while helping assemble the motor. Finally, 10 years later, the car was on the road again.
